Foothill Community Concert Series
Frequently Asked Questions
Our concert facilities, restrooms and post-concert reception hall are all
wheelchair accessible. Our facility has abundant handicap parking along with designatedsenior parking. If you have any special concerns, please don’t hesitate to call us at 408/258-8133.
HOW DOES FCCS USE THE ADMISSION FUNDS COLLECTED AT EACH CONCERT?
Many concert-goers are curious about how FCCS uses the admission donations that we collect at each concert. Half of your donation goes to pay the performers and to help cover the cost of the post concert reception. From the other half, FCCS pays for upkeep of the performance space, maintenance and purchase of equipment used by the Concert Series, ticket printing, promotional materials, advertising and other expenses related to our production costs. When FCCS has a surplus of funds, we may also contribute to the missions of Foothill Community Presbyterian Church. These missions include things like disaster relief, feeding and clothing families in need and providing toiletries for the homeless. The various missions of Foothill Community Presbyterian Church make gifts with no strings attached. Our faith community does not require recipients to be Christian or to participate in worship at Foothill Church. If you would like further information about how Foothill Community Concert Series uses your monetary contributions, please contact us at 408-258-8133.
HOW MUCH OF MY TICKET PRICE IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Half of the cost of your admission goes to the performers and half is considered a donation to the Concert Series. Because the Foothill Community Concert Series is a ministry of Foothill Community Presbyterian Church and Foothill Church is a 501c3 non-profit, half of your ticket value may be used as a deductible for income tax purposes.
I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST AN ARTIST FOR THE NEXT SEASON---HOW DO I DO THIS?
You must fill out an artist suggestion form. The form is available after concerts in the reception area, online, and in the office at Foothill Presbyterian Church.
